Paris Day Eight- Musee d'Orsay

I got three hours of sleep but didn't want the day to get away so we left close to noon for the Musee d'Orsay. Before leaving we did watch Vincent and the Doctor, because that's just what you do. Because rumor has it the d'Orsay has some pretty good paintings by that Van Gogh fella.

We took at look at a temporary exhibitions called Who's Afraid of Women Photographers? 1839-1945. Finally these extraordinary women are coming to light and their richness and diversity are being recognized as part of art history.

Starry Night (Over the Rhone) was not on display today.

Elizabeth enjoying the view of Montmartre.

This place never gets old.

The one and only Invader found today. PA_797 30 pts. Couldn't have planned this one any better.
We head back on the 12 train then hopped the 10 to Mabillion and off to the Carrefour for groceries. While making dinner I caught up on the television and after I got my laundry is done for the next week. It's about 9:20pm and I'm starting to fade. Tomorrow I want to get an early start and make some more headway with these Invaders. I'm falling behind the pace I've set for myself. Also, there is a book signing that includes Philippe Baudelocque. Check him out in action here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92Yq4QqpFQk&feature=youtu.be) or visit his Facebook page if you are curious.

51 Invaders found. 1830 pts.
