Paris Day Five - Human contributions

Let me explain. I learned some choice words in French today. This is what happens when you ask the difference between "de" and "du". This is why we get along so well. The title is what you may get if you type the phrase into a translator. I'll just leave that there.

I arrived again at Place de la Republique around 11am and got a text from Cathy asking if I wanted to have lunch with her and Takashi. I had a while before they would be in town so I took a two plus hour walk around the 10th and 9th arrondissements.

We left the Porte Saint Denis area and headed close to home for some cake at Patisserie Viennoise. Recommended.

We make a quick stop into Gibert Jospeh to get bubble wrap for Cathy and this beauty for me. I wanted to order this in September when it was released but shipping was just as expensive as the book. 

My sister and niece are at the airport now waiting to get on a plane headed this way. They land in just over 8 hours. I need to get some shut eye.
