Berlin- The last day

Took the 45 minute ride out to the Allied Museum today. Dreary day. Left there and headed to the Hamberger Bahnhof Museum. They have the largest Warhol I've ever seen. And lots of Joseph Beuys. Also saw a Paul McCartney. Came back to dinner at the apartment and left for Altbau. So fun. Walked back in the rain.

This was the original building that stood on Friedrichstrasse where a fake one is in it's place. Barnaby calls that area Disneyland. It's all fake with too many tourists.

Near the Allied Museum.

Oskar Helene Heim station

Hauptbahnof Station

Mao is large and was in charge. Over 14 feet tall.

More construction. Tons of it around Hauptbahnof station

My daily train back to the apartment from Alexanderplatz. M4.

This way to Altbau. The play is in four parts. Each one in a different room with four groups watching each one simultaneously. I met Ingrid who is a little older than me and grew up in East Berlin before the wall came down. She did go to see her file the Stasi had complied back in the day. She is also a theater director and the singer of the band Propeller in Panik (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Propeller-in-Panik/303545503062985)

Paris tomorrow :-)
