Highlights from the flight: my seat neighbor is a young lady from Prague on her way home to spend Christmas with her family after being away for a year. She's studying medicine in Atlanta. I also met George Aguliar. George is an Native American actor, Apache in fact, who meet his wife on a job in Argentina and has lived in Paris for 11 years. He's now 60 and taught himself French at 45 so he could keep working. We stood in the back of the plane together talking and having an ice cream sandwich and some Perrier for quite a while. We also spoke with a guy in software who is from Turkey. He said his English wasn't very good but he was doing just fine. Much better than my Turkish.
It's is now 12:27pm on Day Two. Finally recovered from fatigue with a slightly soar back. the 20th is on the agenda today. C215 has a mural up there and some Invaders are in the vacinity.
Paris Day One 2015
I took the metro to Bir Harkim station and walked over to he Eiffel Tower hoping to see the Shepard Fairy Crisis Globe but it had already been taken down. The construction from two years ago is finished so you can walk underneath the tower now. I took a few photos then walked quickly away from this tourist spot.
There are no easy ways to take the Metro back from that location so I just started walking. I searched out an Invader nearby but only the cement used to secure it is left. No more cherries.

Soon the Place de la Concorde was in view. You can't miss it these days with the large ferris wheel lit up in blue, red, and white. The Obelisk is still my favorite in the place. Looking back where I came you could see up the Champs Elysees up to the Arc de Triomphe and all the holiday lights along the way.
I checked my Pocket Earth map and saw there was an Invader near the Metro exit in from of the L'Orangerie. Scored 10 point with that one. Day One I flashed 9 scoring 380 points.

The new railings on the Pont des Arts are almost done. No more locks. And no more people standing around trying to get you to buy one. Gorgeous views from here.
