So I left the Louvre and walked back toward the apartment and I finally found a supermarket. There is a Carrefour market just around the corner that has everything. Oh, and I found a Space Invader mosaic along the way(!). There is one up another street of Chewie and C3P0 but I'm not sure if it's authentic.
At 7pm there was a reading and discussion at Shakespeare and Company for Seb Emina's book The Breakfast Bible. David Lebovitz was also asked to come and talk with him and answer questions. I like it when two writers get together and talking about each other's work.
Shakespeare and Company is kind of magical at night with the lamps on inside. Very cozy and inviting. They served Bloody Mary's after the talk and book signing.
I may have to check this one out.
It's the little things.
The rain is on it's way.
Mr. Emina and Mr. Lobovitz.
Looking down down the street my apartment is on, Rue St-Andres-des-Arts from Blvd. St. Michel. Crepe anyone?
The Breakfast Bible is very witty. There are instructions on timing the perfect boiled egg (depending on how you like them) and what song is the best used. How can you not like anyone who uses Aztec Camera, Kate Bush and Pulp? He's British by the way. David Lebovitz is from California but now lives in Paris.
